What is cryopen?
Cryo-pen or Cryosurgery, is a highly effective and safe procedure that is used to freeze and destroy benign skin lesions.
It uses liquefied nitrous oxide to destroy the tissue by freezing the cell fluid.
This beneficial treatment allows the client

- No anaesthetic required
- Minimal scarring
- No downtime. Clients can return to normal, daily activities immediately after.
Treatment method
1st freeze; holding the pen close to the lesion, moving towards and away from the area being treated . Depending in the size of the lesion, the treatment may be 1-30 secs.
Thaw;. After the 1st freezing cycle, the tissue is allowed to thaw for about 30 secs.
2nd freeze; this 2nd freeze will start. The freezing will occur much faster than the first.
